About

I'm Lahcen Assmira, a technology enthusiast with a background in Economics and Management and a growing focus on Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering.

I enjoy understanding business problems, working with data, and building software products that solve real-world challenges.

Alongside my technical development, I build SaaS products and experiment with AI-powered applications.

Professional biography

I studied Economics and Management at Université Hassan II Casablanca and graduated in 2024. That same year, I interned in accounting and organization at True Partners in Casablanca, where I saw how a company handles its financial and administrative work day to day.

I then moved toward data and software. I trained in data analytics through the JobInTech x Simplon program, working with SQL and structured data, and I build software to learn how it really works.

My main projects are ChartStud, an AI-powered analytics workspace where I work as Tech Lead and on product development, and URLDN, a link intelligence platform where I work on product development and technical architecture.

I'm now looking for AI & Data Engineering opportunities where I can keep combining business understanding with hands-on technical work.

Education

The academic foundation behind how I think about data and products.

Université Hassan II Casablanca

2021–2024

Licence in Economics and Management · Graduated 2024

My degree taught me to ask what a business is trying to achieve, how it is organized, and what its numbers mean. Data work starts with the same questions. This background helps me connect a technical task to the business problem behind it, and it is a large part of why I moved toward data and technology.

Startup & product experience

Programs and recognition connected to my product work.

I enjoy identifying problems, developing product concepts, designing solutions, and implementing real software. Alongside that work, I have taken part in startup and AI programs that gave me a chance to test my thinking outside my own projects.

Working philosophy

How I approach technology.

“I believe the best way to learn technology is to build with it. Every project gives me an opportunity to understand a problem, experiment with solutions, and turn an idea into something people can actually use.”
— Lahcen Assmira
Learn by building.
I prefer practical experience over purely theoretical learning.
Start with the real problem.
A product has to solve something that matters to the people using it.
Connect business and technology.
I try to understand why something matters before deciding how to build it.
Experiment with AI and data.
Trying new tools is how I find out what they are actually useful for.
Build what is useful.
I would rather build useful products than unnecessary features.
Keep improving.
I keep developing my technical skills with each project.

Have an interesting idea? Let's build something.

I'm open to AI & Data Engineering opportunities, and I'm always happy to talk about products, data, and AI.
